TUSCANY GRILLE:  The Italian/Continental restaurant at 16 Josephine St. in North Providence, Rhode
Island tops my list of all the restaurants I have reviewed for these newspapers over the last 18 years.
Having eaten in fine establishments all over the world we are not usually to enthusiastic to single one
out as the best.
It is gourmet dining at its finest; believe me, this is as good as it gets.

RESTAURANT REVIEW

You owe it to yourself to sample The Tuscany Grille. This is a solid four star restaurant; a real hit “food
with flair”
Nice people and very good food at a reasonable price. That has to be a formula for success. I will be
back often;
you   should visit soon.

Peasant food in king-sized portions “it was worth the extra trip”!

By PETE FONTAINE:  FOOD CRITIC OF THE TIMES

The GASLIGHT is indeed burning in East Greenwich.

One of Rhode Island’s leading restaurateurs said, “ the Gaslight has the best food in East Greenwich”.
Another well-known area executive who works for a Fortune 100 company. Said, "The people in my
office couldn’t  Believe the high quality of food. Yet another person - who is well-traveled in the food
and beverage business said The Gaslight's food ranks among the five best places I've ever eaten."

As for me, in the last 19 years plus that I’ve teased my tummy doing this job, The Gaslight Restaurant
and Lounge at 301 Main Street in East Greenwich is  without question one of this state's
all-time best eateries.
